January 2008 - SPIE Photonics West
|
Duke made a strong showing at the 2008 Photonics West conference held in January 2008 in San Jose, California. Sponsored by SPIE, the Photonics West conference included the entire spectrum of light driven technologies and attracted researchers and product developers from around the world for more than 3,000 R&D presentations. SPIE is an international society advancing an interdisciplinary approach to the science and application of light. FIP Faculty members chaired four conferences and served on several program committees and gave over 23 presentations at Photonics West 2008.
