Fitzpatrick Building is located at the end of the circle drive of 101 Science Drive.  Walk ahead on the side walk and Fitzpatrick Building is 1st building on right (a/k/a FCIEMAS The Fitzpatrick Center for Interdisciplinary Engineering, Medicine and Applied Sciences)

 
Visitor Parking Map (shown below) is located near the end of Science Drive at the Bryan Center to the right. You should see the large parking deck on your right (a/k/a PGIV -Parking Garage IV).  There is Visitor Parking in the PGIV garage and also in the parking lot in front of PGIV as shown highlighted in bright pink on the map below. Parking is $2.00/hour.

Directions from EAST of Durham
(RDU airport) to Duke University

    •    Take I-40 West towards Durham.
    •    Merge onto Durham Freeway/NC 147 N (via exit 279B Durham/Downtown).
    •    Take the Chapel Hill Street Exit (via exit 13).
    •    Turn Right onto W. Chapel Hill Street.
    •    W. Chapel Hill Street becomes Duke University Rd.
    •    Turn Right onto Cameron Blvd/NC 751.
    •    Turn Right onto Science Drive (The Washington Duke Inn is on the left).
    •    On Science Drive, go straight through one stoplight (Towerview intersection). After crossing Towerview Drive, there will be a blue sign for the Bryan Center on your right.
    •    Turn right into the Bryan Center parking lot and deck. Parking is available for $2.00 per hour.
 
To get to the Fitzpatrick Building… from the parking deck, walk back out to Science Drive, turn right on the sidewalk follow past the loop circle and the Fitzpatrick Building is the 1st building on your right.  

Directions from WEST of Durham
(Greensboro/Winston-Salem) to Duke University

    •    Take I-40 East & I-85 North towards Durham.
    •    After passing Burlington and Hillsborough exits, I-40 and I-85 will split.
    •    Take I-85 North towards Durham.
    •    Keep Right and take NC147 South/Durham Freeway (via exit 172 toward Durham/Downtown).
    •    Keep Right and merge onto US 15-501 South (via exit 16B toward Chapel Hill).
    •    Take NC 751 (via exit 107 toward Duke University West Campus).
    •    Turn Left onto NC 751/Cameron Blvd.
    •    At the 3rd stoplight, turn Left onto Science Dr. (The Washington Duke Inn is on the right).
    •    On Science Drive, go straight through one stoplight (Towerview intersection). After crossing Towerview Drive, there will be a blue sign for the Bryan Center on your right.
    •    Turn right into the Bryan Center parking lot and deck. Parking is available for $2.00 per hour.

    •    Take US 15-501 North towards Durham.
    •    Take NC 751 (via exit 107 toward Duke University West Campus).
    •    Turn Right onto NC 751/Cameron Blvd.
    •    At the 2nd stoplight, turn Left onto Science Dr. (The Washington Duke Inn is on the right).
    •    On Science Drive, go straight through one stoplight (Towerview intersection). After crossing Towerview Drive, there will be a blue sign for the Bryan Center on your right.
    •    Turn right into the Bryan Center parking lot and deck. Parking is available for $2.00 per hour.

(Virginia) to Duke University

    •    Take I85 South towards Durham.
    •    Take the US 15-501 Bypass South (via exit 174a towards Hillsborough Rd/Chapel Hill).
    •    Merge onto US 15-501 South.
    •    Take NC 751 (via exit 107 toward Duke University West Campus).
    •    Turn Left onto NC 751/Cameron Blvd.
    •    At the 3rd stoplight, turn Left onto Science Dr. (The Washington Duke Inn is on the right).
